SmileDirectClub 60-Day Guarantee and Product Return Policy

At SmileDirectClub, we’re all about making people smile. We went to great lengths to develop great products intended to last for years and keep you grinning daily, but you may change your mind about a purchase or things break occasionally. If this happens, you’re in good hands.

Change your mind, no problem. Our products come with a 60-day guarantee where you can get a full or partial refund for your product purchase.

To receive a full refund of a product you decide you no longer want, your returned product must be received in its original packaging, with all paperwork, parts, and accessories. If the product you received has a defect or if you experience a product performance issue, or if there was damage to the product in-transit, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund. Either way, please follow these steps when returning your purchase:

  • Pack your unused items in the original packaging (if you have it).
  • Include all original packing materials, manuals and accessories.
  • Give us a call at (800) 957-3409, with your order number, to let us know you would like to return your item.

Receiving Refunds

Once we receive and process your return, we’ll you to let you know your refund has been issued. You’ll typically see your refund on your credit card statement within 5 to 10 days of processing depending on your financial institution.


Faulty Items

If you received a faulty / defective product and for the same item, please call our Customer Care team at (800) 957-3409 to request a replacement. 

You can also return merchandise purchased at shop.smiledirectclub.com via our self-serve portal in your my account dashboard.


When returning via a parcel carrier/mail:

If you have the packing slip that was included in the original package sent to you with your product(s), you may return the merchandise to SmileDirectClub by parcel carrier/mail at the address below for a refund of the purchase price, less other if applicable (unless you are eligible to receive a refund of such charges), in the original form of payment:

Please fill in any requested information on the packing slip and include the packing slip in the return box. SmileDirectClub will issue refunds after we have received and inspected the returned merchandise.

We reserve the right to limit or refuse certain returns if we determine product tampering, fraud or policy abuse has occurred.
